Receptionists ask for some indication as to your call as they enter this on the clinicians appointment screen. During the morning they will triage by reviewing the comments to see if there's anything that needs to be dealt with more urgently, therefore any information you feel you can provide is welcomed.

When making an appointment you may specify which doctor you would like to see. Please be aware that if the doctor you wish to see is already fully booked you will be offered an appointment with another doctor or specialist practitioner if they are available. If you wish to see a specific clinician based on gender please state this at the time.

Appointment slots are for 10 minutes.

Telephone Advice

If you wish to speak to the doctor or nurse please ring at around midday. If nobody is available to take your call your details will be taken and you will be called back.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
